Today, we are re-releasing a previous scrapbooking kit collaboration with Laitha! She is amazing and we went with a theme of Italian Renaissance in honor of her homeland! Renaissance is a word referring to a cultural movement in the 14th-17th centuries. It began in Italy and spread throughout the rest of Europe encompassed many different subject areas but really excelling in art with contributions from Michaelangelo and DaVinci. We found this time period to be visually stunning.
This scrapbooking kit went together seamlessly and effortlessly between the three of us. It’s versatile enough for art journaling, mixed media, everyday scraps, and travel memories!!! There are 4 worn papers, 18 patterned and solid papers and over 70 elements. This kit is full of gorgeous art, intricate elements, and so much fun to use for your art!. The alpha is from a font derived from old roman ruins and published in a font text from the early 19th century. It looks great as old scraps reminiscent of Da Vinci’s Vitruvian man image. Don’t forget to check out the wonderful images from our CT HERE.
We wanted to bring your attention to Pixel Scrapper, a new forum and site for digital scrappers. It’s got inspiration, lots of free scrapbooking elements, papers, and templates. I’ve been following Marisa Lerin for a couple years, mainly due to her travels around the globe (because I’ve experienced something similar). Her site is now open and she’s having a FUN scavenger hunt with a kit to be FOUND! Grab this scrapbooking kit for yourself. Here is what the complete kit will look like. Head to PIXEL SCRAPPER for more links.
