Clothier Collection and CT Feature: Cynthia Taylor

Today, we have a collection that speaks to a sewer or a fabric hoarder, or someone who loves vintage handwork.

It’s available as a collection bundled together for a VERY good price, or separately if you only like certain packs.  It’s chock full of vintage elements, touchable papers, cool brushes, and fun unique pieces.  Take a look at our CT’s pages HERE.

TODAY, we are featuring the work of Cynthia Taylor, our own MRSPEEL!  Have you seen her layouts?  Most impressive.  We love how she uses so much of the elements and mashes it up in her own unique way to make such a cohesive page.  They are full of things to look at and yet never look junked up or messy.

So we asked her:

What’s your sign?

Virgo (same as me, Vivienne) Exacting, picky and critical (and they can be), but their ‘attention to detail’ is for a reason: to help others. Virgos, more than any other sign, were born to serve, and it gives them great joy. They are also tailor-made for the job, since they are industrious, methodical and efficient. The sense of duty borne by these folks is considerable, and it ensures that they will always work for the greater good. Sounds like Cynthia to me!

Any children or pets?

Cynthia has a 17 year old daughter named Sarita, a dancer and ballerina extraordinaire.  We at ViVa are all her aunties.  According to Cynthia:  last we had a cat, was with us 3 years, we had to give her away as we were travelling and none could look after her… I am at a point in my life in which, as much as I LOVE animals, can’t really look after any,I also don’t get attached anymore…not even to people. I grew up travelling a lot, moving houses, cities, countries…maybe that’s why..you learn not to (get attached).

Socks or barefeet?

Socks, even in Brazil in full blown summer I wear socks to sleep sometimes LOL

What’s the most daredevil thing you ever did?

Can’t be spoken about in public LOL

If you were a comic book character, who would you be?

Did they make comic books of Emma Peel? if not I would have to say the cat woman…..

What is the latest scrap project you have done.

As a project? if you mean idea-materialization-print, I did print my whole Project 52 (which was  mixture of 52 weeks with 365, I actually scrap events, like going to the theatre or to eat at our favs restaurants, or even Mc Donald’s…if there isn’t a picture, it didn’t happen…so one week of mine scrapped may could have up to 50 pages!  If you ask what I scrapped last, easy, your super, fabulous, amazingly gorgeous Clothier collection!!!!

We love Cynthia’s humor, her upbeat personality, her crazyness, her stories!

Take a look at her BLOG HERE.  Her layouts are HERE.
